Soleo Footwear offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms of Service,” “Terms”), including any additional terms and policies referenced herein or accessible via hyperlink. These Terms apply to all users of the site.

Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using our website. By using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions, you may not access the website or use any services.

Any new features or tools added to the current site will also be subject to these Terms. We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site after such changes constitutes acceptance.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform.


1. Definitions

  • Withdrawal period: The time frame during which the consumer may cancel the contract.

  • Consumer: A natural person acting outside of any business or professional activity.

  • Day: A calendar day.

  • Continuous contract: An agreement involving recurring deliveries.

  • Durable medium: A medium (such as email) which allows information to be stored and consulted unchanged.

  • Right of withdrawal: The right of the consumer to cancel the contract within a stipulated period.

  • Entrepreneur: The business offering products or services.

  • Distance contract: A contract concluded without physical presence using distance communication tools.

  • Distance communication tools: Such as internet, email, or phone.

  • Terms and Conditions: This document.

3. Applicability

These Terms apply to all offers and agreements between Soleo Footwear and the consumer. They are made available before a distance contract is concluded and can be stored electronically.

If special conditions apply to certain products or services, those are applicable alongside these general Terms. In case of conflicting provisions, the one most favorable to the consumer shall prevail.


4. The Offer

Offers are non-binding unless explicitly stated. If limited in time or subject to conditions, this will be clearly mentioned. Descriptions of products and services are accurate and complete. Images are illustrative and may not exactly match delivered products. Obvious mistakes or errors do not bind us.

Each offer will clearly indicate:

  • Price (excluding VAT/import duties if applicable)

  • Shipping costs, if any

  • Method of contract formation

  • Applicability of withdrawal rights

  • Payment, delivery, and execution details

  • Duration of the offer

  • Communication costs if exceeding standard rates

  • Options to correct errors before placing an order

  • Available languages (besides English)

  • Any applicable codes of conduct

  • Minimum contract duration, if applicable

5. The Contract

A contract is formed once the consumer accepts the offer and meets the conditions. For electronic transactions, confirmation is sent immediately.

We ensure secure electronic data transmission and protect online payment transactions. We reserve the right to verify a consumer’s payment capacity and may decline or impose special conditions if necessary.

We provide the following information with each order (or upon delivery if not provided earlier):

  • Contact address

  • Withdrawal rights and procedure

  • Warranty and after-sales service

  • Complete product/service details

  • Cancellation terms for long-term contracts


6. Right of Withdrawal

The consumer may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving any reason. During this period, products must be handled carefully.

To withdraw, consumers must notify us in writing or via email within the 14-day period. After notification, the product must be returned within an additional 14 days. Proof of timely return is required.

Failure to notify or return the product will result in a binding sale.


7. Costs of Withdrawal

Return shipping costs are paid by the consumer. If the consumer already paid, the amount will be refunded within 14 days of the withdrawal notification, once the product has been returned or return proof has been provided.


8. Exclusion of Withdrawal Rights

Withdrawal rights may not apply to:

Products:

  • Made to order or personal specifications

  • Clearly personal in nature

  • Non-returnable by nature

  • Perishable or soon to expire

  • Priced based on market fluctuations

  • Newspapers or magazines

  • Unsealed audio/video/software

  • Hygiene products with broken seals

Services:

  • Accommodation, transport, catering, or leisure with specific dates

  • Services initiated with consumer’s consent during withdrawal period

  • Betting and lottery services

These exclusions will be clearly stated before contract completion.


9. Price

Prices will not be increased during the offer period, except for changes in VAT or legal obligations.

Variable pricing (e.g., based on market rates) will be clearly stated.

In the case of delivery outside the EU, import duties and local VAT are the responsibility of the customer.

Prices are subject to typographical errors. We are not obligated to honor pricing mistakes.


10. Conformity and Warranty

We guarantee that our products conform to the contract, the offer, and general quality expectations. If specific use is agreed, the product will be suitable for that purpose.

Warranty does not affect legal consumer rights.

Warranty is void if:

  • Products are modified or repaired by unauthorized persons

  • Misused or exposed to inappropriate conditions

  • Affected by government regulation on materials


11. Delivery and Execution

Orders are processed and shipped promptly. Unless stated otherwise, delivery will occur within 30 days. If delays arise, the consumer will be informed within that period.

Consumers can cancel delayed orders without penalty and will receive a refund within 14 days.

If delivery is impossible, we may offer a replacement product. The consumer may accept or reject the alternative. Return shipping in such cases is covered by us.

The risk transfers to the consumer once the product is delivered.


12. Duration Contracts: Termination and Renewal

Termination:
Consumers can cancel ongoing contracts with up to one month’s notice. Fixed-term contracts may be cancelled at the end of the term with the same notice period. Termination must be possible by the same method as subscription.

Renewal:
Contracts may not auto-renew for fixed terms. Subscriptions may auto-renew for up to three months if consumers can cancel at the end with one month’s notice. Indefinite renewals are allowed only if consumers can cancel at any time with a maximum of one-month notice.

Trial or introductory offers will not auto-renew.


13. Payment

Unless agreed otherwise, payment must be made within 7 business days of entering into the contract or starting the withdrawal period.

Payment errors must be reported promptly. If payment is not received, we reserve the right to charge reasonable recovery costs after prior notice.


14. Complaints Procedure

Complaints should be submitted in writing within 7 days of the issue. We aim to respond within 14 days. If a complaint requires more time, we will notify you of the extended handling time.

Unresolved complaints may be submitted for dispute mediation.

Complaints do not suspend contractual obligations unless otherwise agreed. If a complaint is valid, we may repair or replace the product free of charge.


15. Disputes

These Terms and any related agreements are governed exclusively by UK law, even if the consumer resides abroad.
